点评:On our second day, our hotel rep, Fatih, persuaded us to book an evening at Nordic Garden instead of my preferred choice. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disaster.
• My mum has a severe egg allergy and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that seemed safe. When it arrived, the bun had clearly been brushed with egg — something not listed on the menu. When we raised it, the waiter was rude and dismissive, telling her to “just take the top off the bun” and even prodding her food instead of replacing it properly.
• My 11-year-old son’s burger arrived with cheese despite us clearly ordering it without. He has sensory issues and possibly PANS/autism, so this caused a lot of distress and meant he didn’t want to eat at all.
• The “replacement” meals that came back were absurd — the tops had simply been swapped for the crust ends of a loaf, which was not only unappetising but also unsafe for an allergy sufferer.
The bill came to £70 for the three of us, yet my mum and son barely touched their meals. I complained to Fatih afterwards; he apologised and said he’d speak to the manager, but I’ve heard nothing since.
This experience left us feeling shocked, disappointed, and concerned for anyone with allergies who might dine here.
