点评：Visiting the Khao Lak Ethical Elephant Sanctuary was one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip. The care and respect shown to the elephants is truly inspiring — no riding, no exploitation, just a focus on their well-being and natural behavior.
The highlight was an incredible walk with one of the elephants through the jungle. Each of us was given a bag of bananas and sugar cane to feed her along the way, making the interaction feel personal and deeply special. After the walk, we got to rinse her off with a water hose and help her drink — a calm, joyful moment that really connected us to the animal.
The tour itself was small and intimate, with only four guests, which made it even more peaceful. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and even shared his own mangos with us — a small gesture that spoke volumes.
We ended the day with a tasty meal at the sanctuary’s restaurant, the perfect finish to an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who values animal welfare and authentic, respectful encounters. Thank you for such a beautiful day!
