Epic Day! Using Bamz is a must!

点评：First off, thank you, Bamz. It was an unforgettable day. We were indeed fortunate to stumble across you.
The day started off at 130am, with our driver, Baruna, picking us up at our stay in Canggu, which Bamz organized. Baruna was with us all day and couldn't say enough good things about his service. He even offered to give me his sandals at the waterfall because mine weren't waterproof, and we had to walk all over rocks.
We got to the meeting point at Mt Batur around 3 am and quickly, Bamz was over getting us prepared with flashlights, headlamps, and a bottle of water for the hike (I'd recommend bringing a couple extra/large of your own as well).
During the hike, Bamz was excellent to talk with and provide local knowledge, and he also seemed to be a favorite among the locals. We were experienced hikers, so we arrived at the top around 430am, where we got settled in the shack and were quickly provided coffee. With another 2 hours until sunrise, I was skeptical about why we got there so early, but it turned out to be a highlight. Bamz got on the guitar with another guide, and we had a great time chatting and singing along with the other guests. Unfortunately, the fog today took away the visibility of sunrises, but it did end up clearing up 30 minutes later, so we could get some great photos. Before trekking down, we then traveled around the crater to some other great points of interest.
Our driver, Baruna, was waiting for us when we got down and then set off to a coffee plantation where we got to sample various coffees and teas. I'd recommend trying the Luwak coffee, while you're there.
After that, we had one more stop planned by Bamz, Tekuad Cepung Waterfall. Getting to see a waterfall was high on our list this trip so it was a bonus we could tie it into this trip. We got there around 1015am, which was perfect because it was still pretty quiet. After a short hike in, we got to the base, where we got some breathtaking views of the main waterfall and a smaller one. Baruna was quite knowledgeable about the area, so that was very convenient in getting around. We got some fantastic photos, and the water felt refreshing after a long day.
Pretty epic day and all before 11 am.
