My recent stay was a nightmare. The management was unresponsive and uncooperative. The beds were broken, and despite complaining, no effort was made to improve the situation. The door keys were faulty, and even after multiple requests, they weren't replaced.
What's worse is that we were charged premium prices for non-AC rooms, which was a clear case of false advertising. The hotel staff was rude, with one employee telling us to "adjust karlo" when we raised concerns. The manager, Vikas Malhotra, was equally unhelpful and showed no interest in addressing our issues.
To add insult to injury, after I posted a review on Google, the hotel management reached out asking me to give a positive review about the food in exchange for a discount. This attempt to manipulate reviews only added to our negative experience.
Overall, I would not recommend DLS highlands to anyone. The lack of accountability, poor maintenance, and unprofessional staff make it a hotel to avoid.
