An Oasis in the bustling city of Kochi

点评：Situated in the centre of Kochi, the hotel Abad Plaza is a tranquil air conditioned oasis. Our well equiped room (401) was probably the quietest I had ever experienced in India. The roof top pool area was a delight, a lovely spot to take advantage of the warm Kerala sun. Breakfast was very good as well.
My wife and I stayed 6 nights and were very impressed with the standard of customer care delivered by the staff of the hotel. From the excellent reception staff, the restaurant personnel, through to the gardiner who tended the roof top plants, they all worked very hard to make the hotel work. A lot of credit should go to the hotel manager, Mr Kumar, who is an able "captain of the ship".
The only negative I could find was the low number of beds by the pool. A few more would be beneficial.
Another tip worth mentioning is make sure that it is clear whether breakfast is included or not. We booked with Priceline/Agoda and what we on our booking sheet was at odds with the booking record that the hotel had. Mr Kumar was able to resolve this matter, however it is best if you double check your booking yourself in advance.
