智选假日套房酒店阿拉莫戈多HWY 54/70的点评
点评：We were in Alamogordo to do two things that were coincidentally opposite sides of the emotional spectrum. Our family lived in La Luz and Alamogordo for many years. I met and married my wife there 43 years ago 29 May and my mother, 96 years old, was being laid to rest on 30 May. First, they had free bottled water, little packets of tooth paste and such there which is a nice touch and free coffee all the time. They have sleds and sand toys for kids, just ask. This was a happy and sad time and our family went to many of the old sites, my daughters and niece, all grown, went to places that their Grandma and Grandpa took them as kids one of which was White sands, and they took a sled and sand toys, provided by the hotel, as we did have a two year old with us. Then, we were going to visit the old family houses, one in La Luz and one in Alamogordo to see if we could get a cutting of the fig trees, my mother planted them and loved figs. We needed some paper towels to keep them wet and the Ladies at the front desk provided us with enough to get the job done.
The rooms were nice, beds slept well and the bathrooms had Dove products which the girls really liked.
There is so much more to a hotel sometimes than just the rooms, sometimes it is the people that work there. We were sad and happy and they all let us know they would do anything we needed. More than just saying it though, they meant it. We talked to them like we were fast friends.
I just want to thank them all. When we go back to visit again this is the place to stay.
