Without any prior notification, Bolt charged my account 200€, claiming I had “misused” their card. There was absolutely no explanation of what this supposed “misuse” entailed, nor any evidence provided to support this serious accusation. I was completely blindsided by this charge.
When I attempted to resolve the issue through their customer service, I was met with automated responses and unhelpful representatives who seemed more interested in defending the company than addressing my legitimate concerns. No one could provide specific details about the alleged violation, yet they refused to reverse the charge.
The lack of transparency is appalling. How can a company arbitrarily decide to charge such a significant amount without proper documentation or clear communication? This experience has completely destroyed my trust in their service.
If you’re considering using Bolt, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Their questionable billing practices and poor customer service make them a company to avoid. I’ve since switched to a competitor and have had none of these issues.
