点评：This restaurant does not deserve its high ratings, and I strongly urge others to take heed.
Our experience was one of the worst in terms of service. Based on the glowing reviews, we expected a great dining experience, but it fell far short.
We arrived at 4:30 PM with a reservation confirmed by a call with the chef, who sounded enthusiastic about hosting us. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, so there was no excuse for the poor service.
The menu was far more limited than described in recent reviews, and prices were noticeably higher. We ordered ceviche, six empanadas, two waters, a glass of Chardonnay, and a pisco sour.
The first drinks—the Chardonnay and pisco sour—took 45 minutes to arrive. While the pisco sour was well-made, it was shocking that it took the bartender so long to prepare it.
Food service was even worse. After an hour, only two of the six empanadas arrived. Our sons, hungry and frustrated, ate those while we were told the other four would be out shortly. Five minutes later, the remaining empanadas finally arrived. While they were hot and tasted good, the “mixed seafood” filling was a disappointment—mine had only four clams, and that was it.
The ceviche never arrived because the waiter forgot to place the order.
This wasn’t an issue of language or misunderstanding, as our sons are fluent in Spanish. It was simply poor service and mismanagement. The owner clearly doesn’t know how to handle the demands of a tourist-heavy area like Puerto Natales, Chile.
We ended up leaving and finding another restaurant, where we received excellent food and service within 17 minutes.
Do not waste your time here, no matter what the other reviews say. This place is not worth it.
