点评：I was visiting the Auburn Hills area for a short getaway and had intended on eating at Rainforest Cafe in the area. Long story short that was booked solid and we couldn't go. That turned out to be my lucky break as we then went to look for something else. We wanted something a little different and came across Shish Palace. It is just in a little strip mall but it was near our hotel and it was getting late so we decided to give it a try. My wife and I tried the Shish Combo for 2. This came with a kabo, 2 chicken tawook, 2 kibbee and enough rice to feed 4 but it was delish and provided lunch the next day as well. When we sat down they placed down this amazing pillowy bread. It looked like pita but was better than any pita I've ever had. Along with this was an amazing garlic dipping sauce. I'm not even that much of a bread eater but this was fantastic. Along with the entrees you also had a choice of salad or soup. My wife had the salad which was very nicely appointed and had a tangy house dressing. I had the chicken vegetable soup which was very tasty. Honestly there isn't one thing I can fault. The food was great, our water were always topped off, we had attentive service and things were provided containers to take back to the hotel. Thankfully we had a fridge because it would have been a shame to have wasted that food and there was no way we could have eaten it all in one setting and I have a robust appetite. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. Wish I lived closer to it because it was great. Will definitely return if I am in the area again.
