Would recommend this hotel - clean, modern touches and good green credentials.
瓦拉马尔蒂雷纳酒店的点评
点评：We are a couple with a young child who visited in September 2024 for 7 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel - very clean, modern touches and good environmental / green credentials.
The temperature was generally about 25 - 32 Celsius, apart from a few cooler days and one in which Dubrovnik experienced some very bad flooding, which the staff told us was usually unheard of.
The only complaints we had about the room were we would have preferred a double rather than twin beds pushed together and the shower gel / shampoo dispenser was a bit high. The beds (twin & sofa bed) and the bathroom were perfectly nice.
We really liked Maro World and mainly used the soft play, trampolines and the evening entertainment (music, dancing and theatre products). We thought the Beauty and the Beast production was very good.
The buffet restaurant (half-board) had a great variety of different foods and drinks and we had no complaints about the quality of this. There are too many to mention but Antonio, Dario and Ira were very good with out toddler.
The reception and the concierge were really helpful when we needed them, there are shops and restaurants on site, a SPA and an indoor pool located on the sister hotel site, and an outdoor pool shared between the two.
We did a tour of the Elaphiti Islands and enjoyed this, however the hotel advertised the trip as having an “open bar,” which turned out to be a number of cool boxes with white wine, juices and water.
We also did a tour on a Tuk-tuk (again booked via the hotel) with Eco Tuk Tours (Ante and John Danicic). I have included some of the pictures from the top of the cliffs etc. On the return route to the old town, Dubrovnik was shut down with stand-still traffic.
The company did a good job of adapting the tour so we could still experience the best of Dubrovnik. The number 6 bus route was a quick and easy way to get back to the hotel vice versa and cost 2.5 euros per head (young children free).
I always prefer it when a hotel / location exceeds our expectations and this one certainly did that.
