点评：Lots of hype, but just not worth it. As previous reviews have noted, just getting a reservation is a feat, and after 54 calls I secured a reservation for myself and my two daughters for a very special occasion to celebrate. I did request a window seat and was told it could not be guaranteed, which I understood. When we arrived a perfect window seat was open and I asked the host if we could sit at that table, I was told no, it was reserved for a VIP requested by the Owner. I asked if we could have the table if they did not arrive and the host said yes.
We were then seated on the patio outside of the main dining area. The table I politely requested sat open for 45 minutes and the second window seat next to it opened just after we sat down and also sat open for over an hour and a half. The host refused to seat us at either window table, even while they sat open during the entirety of our dinner. The service was very slow, the food was average as far as sushi goes, and the overall experience was terrible.
Previous reviews have mentioned the arrogance of the host, and I have to concur. He could have easily sat us at either of the window tables, it would have meant the world to my daughters, and I, but he did not. It is truly the opposite of customer service.
We have dined at many exceptional restaurants in Nantucket, including the SeaGrille, The Chanticleer and Cru. Honestly, the service at the Brotherhood of Thieves where we dined casually the evening before was exceptional compared to Lola41.
