Beware--this hotel will overcharge !!
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Amite的点评
点评：We stayed at this hotel for 1 night for a wedding at The Greenery at the Berry Barn. We booked a couple months before at the wedding block rates. Upon arrival,we were over charged $45 and on top of that a $250 damage deposit. The woman checking us in said that the wedding couple did not have 10 rooms booked and so we were charged regular rate. The hotel was packed. If this was true, the hotel should have contacted us since they had all of our contact info. I said I didn't care to stay here for that price and would drive home after the wedding. She said it didn't matter because I still would be charged since I didn't cancel 24 hours before. There was no manager at the hotel. I have a copy of the RSVP and a copy of what we were charged. I have contacted IHG several times being told the manager would call me and he never did. I even stayed in hold a few times while IHG tried to get a manager on the phone. He will not even call his parent company back. My daughter got married a couple of years ago and I would have been mortified if the hotels we used did this to our guests. If they did this to everyone that night, they pocketed thousands. This hotel ruined our night. Shame on IHG for allowing their name on the sign.
