点评：My husband and I originally booked this tour for the fall of 2020. That obviously didn't happen but this year we invited our biking friends and 8 of us from Vermont (all in our 70’s) joined the UNESCO tour with 7 others, our guide, Dimitri, our driver/mechanic/support person, Visi and our "guide in training' Mateo. The tour was fantastic; the scenery was beautiful, the hotels were good, the food was delicious. At the price it was a fantastic value. It was hot and sunny in mid September and there was lots of climbing but we had all opted for e-bikes and Visi switched out batteries at lunch time for those who were heavy users. Dimitri is a wonderful guide; his depth of knowledge about the history and culture of Albania is impressive, and he is really fun to be with. There were only two minor drawbacks: they don’t have an easy wire transfer or US office to make the payment and the e-bikes, which were new and in excellent condition had a more forward leaning/mountain bike type riding position that was not comfortable for many of us. We've done many tours, mostly self-guided -- the Loire Valley, Paris to London, Umbria, Puglia, Sicily, Portugal, Slovakia-Hungary, Croatia and Crete. And although they’ve all been fun, this tour was exceptional. Just do it!
