点评：Now this was a surprise: I came here without having any expectation and then this.
The friendly owner Wassili and his wife were sitting at the bar, greeting us friendly.
We sat down at the air-con bar and ordered two Hofbräu Bräu beers from the draft. They arrived in thick German beer mugs and were super-fresh and tasty. Not a bad start at all, with 32°C temperature outside.
Next was studying the menu. So many dishes there, it is unbelievable. All the Bavarian standards were there: pork knuckle, pork belly, sausages, you name it. Then the Austria corer: Wiener Schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn, etc. Then the Russian corner: Borscht, Meat Dumplings, and ... a Josper oven, an combination of charcoal grill and oven in one unit!
So we have ordered the Russian Meat Dumplings, a Currywurst, and a BBQ lamb skewer. And one Bretzn (Pretzel).
All very, very good. I will definitely come back. The owner Wassili told me that he buys his bread from Haubis and his meat and sausages from Rudi's. No wonder that this food is so good.
I will definitely come back and try out more from Wassili's menu.
