Seriously anxious about the food hygiene and the restaurant operation standard

点评:非常差的食品卫生条件,奢华酒店怎么会有发霉的草莓送给客人做客房欢迎甜点,我觉得很可笑。关键是早餐的面包居然也是隔夜的,这个简直不可理喻,在春节期间翻了倍的涨价难道服务时相反的翻了倍的下降?
It was a very disappointed experience with my first stay in Six Sense in Duxton, Singapore. We have received a chocolate cake as amenity. It was just a simple chocolate cake with a strawberry and few blueberry. I never think it could go wrong.
After I finish the cake and the one last bite to the strawberry, I suddenly found it went moldy already. I don’t have energy to talk to anyone and my husband was sick in bed need me to take care. So I leave a note mention I found it moldy and leave the strawberry in the plate at the door. And after i have left the room took my husband to pharmacy. When we came back I found a note and 2 water bottle which same as the bottle of complimentary water in the room was giving us as a gift as an apologize. How sincere it is?! I don’t get it. I would not need to bottle to comfort my feeling.
2nd day in the breakfast time it was EVEN WORST. I don't know how can a luxury hotel serve overnight bread and not fresh fruit to the guest with the already supper limited menu. We are at the Singapore and the pineapple is not fresh? Such a big joke! We could not even finish it. And especially during my husband was feeling not well, the only hope is a rice congee for comfort in the menu which is a lifesaving that written in the menu but not available, we even could get a explanation why from the service lady. Fine! We cannot get a rice congee from the luxury and adverted itself as a well-being hotel brand - the six sense. It was a serious joke?!
I could not complaint it during that moment because my husband was not feel well and I wouldn’t want it went even worst. Then I have to take him in a weak condition to the surrounding local shop and trying to find him a proper breakfast during chinese new year holiday and 90% of the shop are closed around, so he can take his medicine after meal.
So from the case happen to us, I never receive a face to face apologize about the moldy strawberry or even no one mention it. The breakfast with over half of the food were not finished, there is no one ask if there are something wrong. Seems the management team think it was just too small to communicate.
Although I have to say the overall hotel facility was good even the room was super small, the decor and design are very nice and great. And the welcome experience was good as the only good memories leave to us.
But the whole experience was totally bad and unacceptable. With the pool and careless service I would not pay the bill next time. It would be the one and only bad experience for us in Six Sense anyway.
