点评：We recently dined at Las Tias Restaurant in Paramaribo, Suriname, and while the ambiance was pleasant and the decor was inviting, the food fell a bit short of our expectations. We ordered the arroz amarillo con yuca y mojo and chicken, as well as the platanos maduros, but found that the dishes were bland and lacked the bold flavors we were hoping for—nothing truly stood out in terms of taste, and it didn’t have the authentic Mexican flair we expected. Given the high prices, with some entrées exceeding SRD 1,000 per dish, we decided to try the more modestly priced arroz amarillo con pollo. Overall, the food was just okay; I’ve had better meals in Suriname for a similar cost. Our total came to around USD 31 for two people, and we noted that using a credit card incurs a 5% commission, which appears common in Suriname. Although it’s a nice-looking restaurant, a bit more attention to cleanliness would elevate the experience. All in all, Las Tias is fine for a casual meal but not somewhere I’d rush back to.
