点评:We went for Lunch at around 3pm on Saturday 22nd February 2025 to the Juffair Square branch of Sushi Library. We were shocked tk experience one of the worst service ever. We were the first to sit outside during that time (inside were maybe 3 tables occupied) and have made simple orders of Sushi and noodles.
One of the Sushi delivered was wrong and we had to return it. After waiting for more than 30 mins, nothing was delivered from the kitchen, whereas the third table that came after us had all their cooked food delivered. When we asked the waitress (Filipino lady wearing blue top) she said it is coming and when we asked the chef infront of her, it appears he did not even start preparing our order. The waitress prioritized the order of the third table (4 persons that came after us) and ignored our order. She did not apologize and when we told her we would like to cancel, she shouted at the chef just cancel and don't cook.
We are surprised that this franchise would have such a bad service and treat customers this way. Even the second table that came after us were disappointed and said to us that another waiter told then they only have 2 staff working in the kitchen, which is very strange for a restaurant with more than 30 tables. Now even with that, why did the waitress serve the other customers their food first, even though she took their orders after us (we saw her noting it down, so they did not pre-order).
In short, we did not get an apology or an explanation why the waitress prioritized the order of third table (all of their dishes were cooked items) and not bother to convince us to stay or offer us anything.
Without getting out food made, we then left and had a wonderful lunch at another Japanese restaurant named "Katana Tori" which is located on the opposite side of this restaurant in Juffair Square. It took Katana Tori less than 10 mins to deliver our food, even though they had only 1 guy at the Sushi bar and also had other customers.
