点评:As a Malaysian, I would rate the authenticity of the Nasi Lemak an 8/10. The sambal, which is the heart of a Nasi Lemak is spot on. In fact it is above average. What brought the rating down is the rice is not as lemak as it can be. The peanuts are crisp but rhe ikan bilis can be slightly better. I had the Nasi Lemak mutton rendang. The rendang taste great but I felt it came from a frozen batch. My wife had the one with sambal udang... NOT disappointing at all :-) The sambal was different than the sambal for the Nasi Lemak and the udang/prawn was a good size.
Like any typical Malaysian, we had the teh tarik. It was decent and like any teh tarik worth its susu pekat, it was sweeeeeettttttt nd creamy.
Go try the pandan ice cream. I must say it was a great way to end the meal.
The ambiance was quaint and we were the only patrons there, which was sad. I feel this restaurant should be more popular what with the decent food it serves. Not much on the interior deco side. Just decent.
Service can be faster especially since we were the only people there.
The cucur udang was decent with authentic cucur udang sambal to go with it.
A word of caution, the place is on the top floor of a bangalow like mini mall. Not as obvious. Look for the entrance through a cafe on the right, below the restaurant.
Btw, chatted with the chef and complimented him on the food. Asked where he learnt it from and he said he worked in Malaysia before. Now it all makes sense.
