点评：Coming from Liverpool, I know a little bit about pubs, and especially Beatles-themed ones. Of the many that exist I have never been in one as excellently authentic as The Beatles Pub in Yerevan. This is not a quickly thrown together ale house cashing in on Beatles lore, it’s a veritable labour of love. As well as paying homage to the Fab Four, it also possesses all the qualities of a great pub: well-looked after beer, conviviality and a feeling of well-being. The manager, Tigran, credits the Beatles’ music for turning his life around and considers the pub as a joyous shrine to the music’s positivity. There are two main bars. Above there is a dining space and drinking area and below, after descending a Cavern-like staircase, a drinking area. There is a wide range of beers, including delectable draught Guinness and London Pride and a specially provided unique Jack Daniel’s rack next to Speyside and Islay single malts. The food is well-cooked pub grub and the music is well-selected Anglo-American that doesn’t drown out conversation. The congenial staff speak English and will offer you an occasional shot that it would be impolite to refuse. There is a good mix of the sexes and ages and walks of life. A place to go to, several times, if you happen to find yourself in Yerevan. Thanks to everyone for a boss experience. BTW, at the end of the night, they play ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’. They might one day add the Z Cars theme.
