点评：This is a new bar, open since December 2022. The name of the bar is based on the superhero movie "Barb Wire" starring Pamela Anderson (1997). The food is Tex-Mex and is pretty good. There is also Vietnamese food. The bar is well stocked. The bartender at this writing is Ivy, and she is very good. The happy hour is 3 pm - 8 pm, longer than most other HCMC bars. It covers beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails which is a great deal because most HCMC bars with a happy hour offer only beer. Barb Wire is a Hostess Bar, which means there are several women there whose main job is to keep you happy while you are there. They all speak English, some fluently, some not so much. This is not sex work, this is hospitality. It seems to be equally popular with expats and locals. There is a Darts board, and the TV always has a football game on. This is a convenient location, I have walked from here to other popular bars and restaurants in D1. Recommended for both solo and couples.
