点评：We were yesterday invited for a wedding at Droombos. A beautiful venue.
Our dinner was a bit of a problem. Firstly, the space was occupied by someone else before, but they managed to get us the place in time. Luckily, it was only a small wedding with 13 people. The problem started with having only one (1) waiter (poor guy) who had to assist us with drinks and bring us the meal. We had several times to ask for some more water. When we got the water, we had to ask for glasses too.
The wedding party had ordered a set menu with some choices for starter, main course and desert. I think the food in general was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. We, havening visited Droombos before expected something much better. The bad taste came, when the desert was ordered and we were told that only 3 Malva Pudding was left, but we needed 6... then we asked for another option, but were told sorry, we only have the brownies with ice cream, which was in any case the other option.
I have eaten before in the restaurant and had a very good experience. But yesterday, we couldn’t believe the service delivery of such an upmarket place. Please look into this as a matter of urgency.
