点评:Stayed with Mo for two months, from January to March. Not really sure if there's anywhere else in the world you'll get this kind of experience. Mo caters to small groups so he can provide individual and personalised attention, unlike the vast majority of surf camps around.
I was after something that was less "surf holiday" and more "surf training", and Mo tailored the experience towards that (although we did do a lot on the holiday side of things as well). My surfing improved immensely - I came to Mo with roughly 2 years of experience, mostly on a longboard. In January I was on a 7'0 mid length with no manoeuvres in my pocket. By late February I was on a 6'0 shortboard with consistent carves and cutbacks, and attempting more radical manoeuvres.
Mo is an excellent teacher, and provides constant feedback to iron out issues with your technique. You can opt for video analysis which I highly recommend as the videos are extremely useful. He will try his best to find you the best spot to surf every day, depending on swell/ ability/ how you feel. At the same time, he will push you to try and explore your limits (within reason). With his 4x4 we had access to many breaks with practically no crowd. So many of my sessions Ali and I were the only ones in the water. Ali (Mo's assistant) will pretty much always be in the water with you keeping an eye on you to make sure you're safe.
On the non-surf side of things:
Great food. Mo is a great cook. Pastilla, Tagines (I rotated my way through beef, goat, lamb, camel, rabbit, turkey and chicken), Cous cous etc. We had multiple dinners at Ali's house with his family, grilled fish by the sea, kofte in Sidi Bibi. The list goes on.
Great experiences. When my girlfriend came to visit, she wanted to see the sand dunes, go sand boarding etc. Mo obliged. Once when I wanted to take a break, I made Mo take us on a road trip down to Sidi infi (sorry man that was a really long drive haha), one of the best experiences of the trip.
I could keep going on, but if you've already read this far, just take my advice and book your trip. You won't regret it. Mo is a great cook/ guide/ teacher yes but most of all he's just an all around great dude. Miss you guys over at Errant and I'll be seeing you soon!
Pastilla、Tagines(我轮流吃牛肉、山羊肉、羊肉、骆驼肉、兔肉、火鸡和鸡肉)、Cous cous 等。
