Fuzzy's Taco Shop的点评
点评：I visited Fuzzys several years ago, not at this location, but one I believe is now closed. I hate to compare different locations, but find it hard not to.
Let's start with the food. I found the tempura shrimp very rubbery, and lacking in tempura batter. My biggest problem though was the small size of the taco. I dont recall them being that small. The overall flavor of the taco was underwhelming, and if that had been the only thing ordered, would have been a 2 star rating.
The saving grace was the pulled brisket bowl. A tad priced but a fair share of ingredients. You can customize your bowl, and I did cilantro lime
rice and black beans. Fuzzys rice was an option, but not quite sure what it was. This bowl included guacamole, and I added sour cream at home. The only thing that was lacking was the cheese. It was there, but concentrated in 1 small area.
Although it's been years since I had it,I do miss the soup they had. As I recall it had the butt burning sauce in it, but wasn't overly hot. Somewhat like a good gumbo.
I wasn't aware of it, but apparently on Wednesday, you get double rewards points! A welcome suprise!
This location had a full liquor bar, and was quite spacious. As I recall, it was a former Topps Big Boy restaurant.
I'll be back,but likely to location that I wasn't aware of that's closer to me!
