点评：We went for a late lunch after hiking Maroon Lake in the morning. We had a great table outside, and felt perfectly comfortable in our hiking clothes.
You are in Aspen, and I mention that because the food is pricey, but so is Aspen. Before you balk at a $68 Elk Stroganoff or a $38 stuffed mushroom appetizer remember you are in Aspen and you have a fantastic view at the restaurant. Think of it as part of a great experience, and you'll be fine.
The Elk Stroganoff came with 6 ounces of Elk on it! It was beautifully-medium rare and, although it was a little salty, they even offered gluten-free pasta! The steak sandwich had 7 ounces of medium-rare steak and a great homemade steak sauce. The kale side salad was a nice touch. We were full, and did not have an dessert.
The service was efficient. Our waiter had a lot of tables when we started, and he relaxed and smiled a lot more as things slowed down. We were never waiting on our server, and we were never rushed. The pace was just right.
