点评:Today I visited Old Place at 29983 Mulholland HWY, Agoura Hills, CA 91301
on 6/22 with my family around 3pm to celebrate my BD. This is one of those places that you order and when the food is ready you go to the window to pick up. I was looking forward to have a pleasant time and dinner. The ambiance is nice, and the food smelled and tasted delicious as always. However, my experience was significantly marred by the gentleman who was helping at the window “unfortunately I didn’t get his name”.
I needed some mustard and when I went to the window and ask the gentleman, he acted like he didn’t understand or hear me so I asked him for the second time and finally the third time he responded in a very rude manner that they do not have mustard.
Well this wasn’t our first time there. We have been going there for years with my husband so I knew they have mustard. When I returned to our table my sister asked me if I got the mustard and I explained to her what had happened. Then she decided to go and ask again. Well the gentleman said the same thing to my sister and then another lady who heard the conversation apologized to my sister and said she will go to the back to bring her some. When you spend about $200 and the tip of 18% is included in the bill, this is the least one should expect.
It’s disappointing to encounter such behavior when dining out, as it overshadowed the quality of the food and the restaurant's otherwise pleasant environment. However I would like to thank the lady “again we didn’t get her name” who went above and beyond for the excellent service.
I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and provide further training to the gentleman to ensure better service in the future. Great food deserves great service.
