点评：It has been several years since I’ve been to a Portillo’s… it’s one of my favorite places to visit when in the Chicago/Schaumburg, IL area. They have the BEST Chicago dogs and the most amazing Italian Beef sandwiches!!! So, when visiting friends in the Phoenix area, I really wanted to come here and get a dog and Italian Beef.
The place wasn’t very busy when we arrived, but we got there very early for lunch. While there, they got packed though. The décor is nicely done, especially for a fastfood joint! Restrooms are clean and everything was well-stocked. The cashier was very helpful and they offer so much more than just hot dogs and Italian beef, such as grilled chicken sandwiches and salads too.
Our food was really good… the Italian Beef was AMAZING! The Chicago dogs were pretty good, but not as great as I remembered them from the Chicago area locations. The fries were really tasty and they’re crinklecut fries!! The salad was perfectly made with fresh veggies.
Overall, I’d definitely return and highly suggest if you’ve never had their Italian Beef, you go ASAP!!
