点评:The cheese and wine is great, although I wish they’d write on the menu what cheese comes with the flights. We had an incident with the chef not wanting to recook a risotto that was so undercooked it was grainy. It really was a downer on the dining experience, especially because this restaurant is quite expensive and is MICHELIN recommended. A restaurant is about the service first then the food. The fact that the chef was unwilling to accept feedback and cook the risotto properly was out of order. He said ‘I can cook it again but it will still be the same’… this to me is a classic sign of a chef who puts his ego first over customer satisfaction. If he’d owned his mistake and just cooked the dish longer (even refiring the dish we sent back would’ve been fine by us), I wouldn’t be writing this negative review of the restaurant. I don’t believe the customer is always right, and I don’t always complain. But that risotto was grainy and undercooked, not to mention pricey. It’s the customer’s right to at least receive the dish they want in an edible format. If my partner had eaten that undercooked risotto, he’d have had a stomach ache. It’s the fact that the chef clearly wasn’t apologetic and didn’t even want to rectify the mistake that ruined the experience. If the restaurant is not willing to hear complaints AND fix them, why bother asking if our meal is okay? I took family from out of town to this place because I’ve loved it so much before. But after tonight I’m embarrassed I even suggested this place. Nothing like a chef with an ego ruining a diner’s experience. If you order the risotto, expect to eat gravel.
