Bad AC ruined the trip

点评：Plus: friendly and helpful staff, good location near to the beach and city centre. Comfortable bed for myself, the single bed for my son was less good.
Negative: AC turns off automatically during night after one hour, it basically ruins the night sleep because of this. The room becomes extremely humid and hot and it awakens us during night. The AC would not turn on at all one evening and the staff had to bring a floor mounting fan to stand in for the AC. After removing a birdnest behind the external AC unit on the balcony the AC started up again, but still shut down in the middle of the night numerous times. This kept me awake and basically ruined the sleep for the whole week for me and my son.
Basic breakfast with a quite bad tasting "juice" which was more like lemonade with added water. I mean, we are in Greece with many nice fruits available to pick in the area- why don't they try to up their game a bit and serve fresh fruit apart from the melon instead of the really bland apricot compot to add to the yoghurt?
Noisy rooms beacuse of the door which is situated between the rooms, adding to the misery was a "neighbouring" austrian which smoked cigarillos as often as possible ruining or stay especially outside at the balcony which faced inwards towards the hotel. if there was sufficient wind, the smell wasn't to bad, during still wind the smell was terrible.
