点评：Stopped for an impromptu coffee and bubbaccino with my 2 yr old son.
I had with me a roll from Bakers Delight for him to pick at so I could enjoy my coffee. I often have preprepared food and snack for him when I venture out to run errands and it keeps him occupied. The only other options available at the cafe that he would have eaten was something sweet which I did t want to give him.
The very rude manager/owner approached me and told me that while she didn’t mind my son eating, I wasn’t supposed to have or consume food from elsewhere. She said that she saw me take a bite of his roll and that was not ok.
She spoke quite abruptly and it was extremely embarrassing. It ruined the whole experience and I decided to not even drink my coffee and left when my son had finished his bubbaccino.
I’ve never visited this cafe before and I won’t return. I explained to the owner/manager upon leaving that she had ruined the whole experience.
I understand people using the tables to eat food from other vendors without purchasing from the cafe is an issue - there is a better way to communicate with patrons about this in a friendly, considerate manner- in this instance I had purchased two coffees and had a bread roll from Bakers Delight for my son to have alongside his drink. Despite my umbrage she got defensive and persisted in with her rudeness and was very dismissive.
This cantankerous woman needs to work on her interpersonal and service skills.
