点评：How do I even begin to describe how great our experience was? We did the 2 day, 3 night trek. I was nervous because I’d not done a trip like this before. Let me tell you, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life!
First off, there’s a reason everyone mentions their guides. It’s because they really are so amazing. We went with Dedi and Jaka. They made the trip so special, kept us laughing, and worked so hard to make sure we were taken care of. You really become friends with your guide and your group in just a few days. The food was amazing. Spending time at camp each night was a dream. We saw many orangutan, including a large male. So awesome!!!!
One of the only things I wish I would have known is that the mattresses at the camp are quite thin. I would have brought my own sleeping pad if I would have realized how thin they are. But honestly you’re so tired at the end of each busy day that I still slept pretty well amongst the peaceful jungle sounds.
I really can’t recommend this company or this experience enough. I definitely think the 2 day, 3 night option is the best. I think you miss out on the full experience if you do anything shorter. You won’t regret it!! Thank you again Dedi, Jaka, and Sumatra Orangutan Explore!!
