Gorgeous, unique and unmissable. A wonderful family afternoon

点评：This was such a wonderful, cosy and really fascinating afternoon!
We made the trek down from Belfast specifically to Christmas shop, and were pleasantly surprised by the café, had gorgeous custom hot chocolates with our two wee boys, and a lush cinnamon bun!
Peter was the real stand out star here - as we got seated waiting our drinks, he popped up with a gorgeous tasting board of three chocolates (what a treat!).. but it was more than that - it was the story he painted with each of them. The “day at the beach”, visually painting with words for the kids about the elements of the chocolate. They were so engaged. Sensing their enthusiasm, he then showed the kids the cacao pods, beans, what they were doing in the factory.. even giving them wee teaspoons to sample straight from the vat (they were BUZZING). He also taught us about all the various parts of the cacao bean (who knew a nice fruit juice came from it?? Peter also let us sample this).
It was so evident the passion that Peter has for this craft, and really deep knowledge. The way he engaged the kids and looked after us was the best example of outstanding customer service we’ve had in a long, long while.
We literally just called in to buy a couple of wee treats for Christmas presents.. but ended up with a gorgeous cosy family afternoon that the kids won’t don’t forget. Thank you Peter and Nearynógs!
Pro tip though: no matter if google maps tells you to turn right when leaving… DON’T!!! A mud track is not a road, google.
