What a Wonderful Adventure on the beautiful Katherine River

点评：Firstly, a big shout out to Mick who we were lucky enough to have as our guide. His knowledge, insights and experience enriched our understanding of this beautiful and relatively untouched part of the world. Yes, we saw crocodiles and navigated exciting rapids. At all times our safety was Mick’s priority. He was professional and explained everything very clearly. Mick’s understanding of and love and respect for this area brought the river to life, from the beautiful birds, the animals, reptiles, plants and trees.
This was a trip of a lifetime and one that will forever be etched in our minds and hearts. It was an absolute privilege to be able to do this tour and sleep out under the stars. Another big shout out to our other three tour companions who were so interesting and engaging. Whether we were enjoying the extraordinary meals Mick was able to prepare or sitting companionably around the camp fire they too enriched our experience.
To Mick and the whole team at Gecko Canoeing and Trekking, we cannot thank you enough.
