点评:We booked two of the newer Executive rooms for our trip from Sydney to Adelaide with our adult daughter. The rooms were clean and well appointed and had been put adjacent to each other. Despite being on the corner by f a busy road we were not troubled by traffic noise.
The only disappointing things related to food. None of the restaurants were open on. Sunday, and those in the neighbourhood were all closing early. As a consequence we had to get food from a service station cafe. The other disappointment was breakfast. We had been told there were gluten free options available but when we asked we were told the only gluten free item was yoghurt and fruit. The staff said not even the eggs and bacon were gluten free and that it was not safe for consumption if you were coeliac. This was incredibly disappointing and meant that the drive out of Mildura was done on an empty stomach for one of us. Luckily we found a place over the border in SA which was open and had gluten free items. With at least 1/10 of the population being coeliac, and many others bizarrely choosing to eat gluten free food, it would have been nice to have some options at breakfast, even if they were pre-packaged and wrapped goods.
