Lakes Pizza & Fish 'n' Chips的点评
点评：Extensive menu with everything from pizza, fish and chips, burgers, souvlakis, pastas, fried chicken, oven bakes etc. However, with such a large range it seems they have spread themselves too thin.
We ordered pizzas after we were told they were ‘sold out’ of pasta at 6pm. The pizzas were supposed to be a 30-40 minute wait when I ordered over the phone, I turned up after 45 minutes and the pizzas were no where to be seen. In fact, it turned out they were still going to be another 40 minutes away. When I politely asked for another estimated time frame on the pizzas (hungry kids at home that needed to go to bed) I was given a frustrated response which made me feel like it was wrong of me to ask or query it. The junior staff also appeared to be completely under the pump and constantly questioned by what appeared to be a more senior staff member (manager?) with a rather large audience of customers waiting for their orders. Not an environment I would like to work in.
The pizzas themselves were average, a bit tasteless and covered in thick cheese. Don’t get me wrong, I love cheese but it was sickening how much was on there. They were a great price though!
Maybe on a quieter night the experience might be better?
