点评：Six weeks ago we booked a trip on the TSS Earnslaw to The Walter Peak Farm which included what was described as a BBQ lunch. Reviews were good, but we had no real appreciation of what to expect. When we arrived we were shown to a lovely sunny outdoor dining area overlooking beautiful Lake Wakatipu. After being offered drinks by our waitress, we were invited to the buffet for self serve lunch. There were numerous food stations, which included an assortment of interesting and delicious salad and vegetable choices, antipasto, and the main feature - a large indoor built in barbeque in stylist kitchen surrounded by a huge wrap around self serve meat buffet offering every kind of BBQ meat you could want. There was beef, lamp, pulled pork, chicken and sausages and more. These were no ordinary sausages, they were the kind you think of months later and know that it could be a while before you taste something so good again. It was the most wonderful lunch, enjoyed in a magical setting on a perfect autumn day in Queenstown. Coupled with the fabulous boat trip and the farm show afterwards, this was one of the absolute highlights of our trip and I will never forget the experience. Oh and did I mention the sticky date pudding!?
