点评：We weren’t aware that it was half price drinks when we first arrived and were surprised to find that a cocktail was cheaper than a glass of wine during this happy hour! The cocktails were really nice, different and fun!
We had the share deal where we had a choice from the menu of 2 starters, 2 mains and a side. We chose the dumplings and wontons to start. The dumplings were fabulous,delicious, moist and full on flavour. The wontons were nice and you could taste the truffle but the sauce was lack lustre.
We were still hungry so hubby ordered the pork belly bao and I had half a dozen oysters natural which were fresh and beautiful.
We asked for some time between courses and the staff were very good in making sure that we had enough time before they served our mains.
We had a bottle of Heathcote rosé ($65) which was quite nice and went well with our mains. We had the black truffle, crab and prawn fried rice and the lamb noodle dish. The rice was good, not oily and you could taste the truffle. It had 3 prawns it but it was difficult to find the crab meat which was disappointing. The lamb was excellent, a real south East Asian flavour. We didn’t receive the roti which was the side we ordered and it wasn’t until the bill arrived that we were offered it to take away by which stage we had eaten more than enough so declined. We had a few people look after us tonight but our main waitress named Carmen provided excellent service and was friendly and made our evening an enjoyable one.
