点评：So we thought we were being so clever by ordering our Friday night Vietnamese takeaway ahead online, for pick up at a designated time... well, we won't bother doing that again!
Firstly, there is a single queue for both walk-in orders and pre-paid takeaway pick-ups, and at peak times, it is LOOOONG. You can quite easily spend several minutes watching your takeaway order cooling on the bench behind the service area, while the couple four places ahead of you debates mid-order how many spring rolls they need (because why on earth would you bother working out what you want to order BEFORE you get to point-of-sale???).
Tonight, I finally got to the front of the queue, expecting to find my takeaway order well and truly ready at past the designated pick up time, but NO - my order's got lost in cyberspace... The staff deal with the issue reasonably well, after a bit of running back and forth to the kitchen and checking rolls of receipts. But my order has to be cooked from scratch...
The experience is redeemed by the ever-reliable yummy fare, but we'll certainly think twice before ordering online for a streamlined experience again.
