A Little Piece of Paris in Adelaide
Hey Jupiter Brasserie Française的点评
点评：Hey Jupiter is a very cute Parisian brasserie-style cafe in the centre of the CBD, tucked away on Ebenezer Place.
We went here for brunch and it was the perfect brunch spot.
We sat outside under the striped awnings at one of the small tables set along the pavement, French-style. The outside tables were the pick of the seating as it is a little cramped and dark inside during the daytime.
The menu has all the French bistro classics you’d expect. We ordered the croque monsieur ($23.50) which was delicious, with a tasty béchamel sauce and topped with a layer of melted cheese that was deliciously golden with crispy bits at the edges.
The atmosphere and decor is charming. Outside, the white and lime green tiled evokes the Paris’ Metro stations. There are fun elements too. The placemats have cartoon sketches and quips in French and the plates and chinaware are all printed with ‘Hey Jupiter’.
We only had one glitch. We’d ordered an egg with the croque monsieur but it was forgotten. By the time we caught the waitress’s eye, we’d already half finished so they simply took it off the bill. Apart from this, Hey Jupiter was a fun little piece of Paris in Adelaide and I would recommend to other visitors.
