点评：My husband and I visited for dinner and opted for the tasting menu.
When we walked into the restaurant I immediately felt I was enamoured by the classy yet unpretentious decor, and knew we would have a memorable evening.
The staff were friendly and professional, explaining the menu and wine list clearly. They carefully checked if we had allergies and between courses, checked if we would like a breather or not. The restaurant paced food delivery according to our needs.
The wine list is extensive but I thought pricey. However, the tasting menu was excellent value - five very high quality courses for $79pp. Cocktails are very reasonably priced - much better than many pubs!
The standout food for me was the mushrooms and the chocolate dessert.
As we left, the waiter explained that the forthcoming alteration to the restaurant will result in it being a little more casual, and have a new name but the staff will remain as will the ingredients and quality. I believe that the way the restaurant is going to pivot is a clever response to the opening of the nearby Marriott Hotel and the opening up of several walkways, which will make Eleven (under it's new name) more accessible.
I'd strongly recommend going to Eleven before it's final service on 3 August and revisiting when it reopens.
