点评：We saved over $70 because they forgot most of our order.
We came here during Fringe season and knew it was going to be busy so we had made concessions over how long our order would take. . When we arrived the restaurant was 3/4 full but we were quickly shown to our seats so we were hopeful we would eat reasonably quick.
They offered a Fringe menu which was slightly different to their normal offering but their greatest hits were still available so we were happy. We ordered reasonably quickly and waited. And then we waited some more. Our drinks never came. We also received a bottle of water with no glasses.
The prawn taco was delicious and fresh but had onion on it. We had asked for no onion but it could’ve been a misunderstanding when we said no onion. Luckily we aren’t allergic. The loaded fries were very generous and definitely served two people. They were delicious but came without plates.
After waiting 30 minutes we asked if our drinks were on the way. They weren’t. They had gone missing.
After an hour we asked if our meals were on their way. We were eager for the meatballs and the paella and noticed almost every table around us had been served except ours but that sometimes happens when you order so many dishes. But they were lost and had been given to another table.
The staff were apologetic and even comp’d two of our drinks. But forgotten orders are incredibly disappointing especially when their menu is so inviting. If I hadn’t have asked where our orders where none would be the wiser. Table service was slim so no one checked if we had our meals, drinks, plates or glasses.
We left hungry. This was the first night my wife was out of isolation and she was so excited to have a Rundle Street experience and it ended poorly. This doesn’t reflect poorly on Rundle Street but rather the attention to detail needed from waiting staff even when they are busy
