点评：Went here a few nights ago for a meal with my partner and a friend. All I can say is the food here was one of the most woeful things any of us have eaten. Not one of us finished our meal… I should be surprised because as soon as I got in there I noticed it was an ALH pub which notoriously have very poor food. My chicken schnitzel was woeful and I haven’t had a worse one in cairns. My mates steak was also horrible, he let me try it to see if there was something wrong with his tastebuds. But there wasn’t. It was over cooked as well. My partners meal (can’t remember what it was now) was also horrible and she refused to eat more than a few mouthfuls of it. I am sure it wasn’t a bad night. I have had the crappy ALH meals before and they are always poor.
The staff (although very minimal in numbers) were great so no issue there!. The good staff are let down by the extremely poor food in this restaurant (which probably isnt even the chefs fault but the fault of ALH management who must think it is acceptable to offer this swill as a meal). Honestly the chicken schnitzel and steak are just the lowest of quality prior to cooking there is nothing the chefs could do. ALH has access to good food (part of a supermarket chain) and how they can’t perform better than this is beyond me.
Honestly do NOT expect to enjoy a nice meal here unless you have never eaten out and don’t know what good food is. Absolute garbage and therefore way overpriced. Chips were ok…
