点评:What we saw was the beautiful terrain in a dry region, dressed with many beautiful falls created by meandering creeks. Semi-arid type vegetation with a mix of monocots and dicots have spread with types of palms emerging in certain areas. It appeared that periodic bush fires have burnt off undergrowth. Some areas had massive termite mounds known as Cathedral termite mounds and Magnetic Termite Mounds. The latter were in wetland atmosphere and had a conspicuous shape and built with two flat sides facing East and West. We enjoyed the pristine clear water flowing in many creeks forming pools deep enough for swimming. The water falls that we saw were Florence, Wangi, and Berry springs and they were very attractive and well fed with apparently the seepage of water absorbed into the lower spongy layers of the soil structure during the rainy season. We got the opportunity of bathing at three different spots of which, one was a flowing creek over a highly eroded rock surface finally cascading into a pool named Buley Rock hole. There were plenty of things to do and to see at Litchfield National Park.
