点评:Hanging out in transit at Bengaluru Airport on 19 March 2022, Saturday evening, I heeded the recommendation of my experienced cousin by trying out cream of mushroom soup at La Alta Vita on first floor or Level 1 at Bengaluru airport. Minestrone soup was not available at past 815pm. Cream of mushroom was served hot, with a cube of butter and 3 round slices of bread. I had some minutes on hand and spent these poring over the menu and taking in the low light ambience and open-to-view dark teak decor. When the soup arrived in white two-eared crockery and separate bowls as for two persons, it was served 1 by 2 as I had requested. The tall gentleman catering to my requests and order patiently explained to me that it was mushroom, if I were to consider it vegetarian. The blended mushroom was well cooked and light and served thick and hot with a slight peppery saltish flavor. I got a doggy bag prepared and happily informed the manager that the soup I had ordered was delicious. At the waiting lounge where I waited for my flight out to Hyderabad, I had a nice time enjoying the luxury of having the warm soup in a different setting. I vote for cream of mushroom soup from La Alta Vita.
