点评:Walking past this church, now a restaurant, one could tell the owner(s) placed plenty of effort to restore this building into attractive place. We admire owners that take that effort into making something better.
We walked in and I was going to take a picture when the bartender started yelling at us. We could tell by his tone of voice that he was not happy with us. We did not need to know Italian. We turned around and walked out.
This bartender turned around a couple that has posted over 15,000 pictures; nearly 4800 likes and over 1,200,000 views on Trip Advisor.
Who knows we may have liked this place so much and stayed to have lunch; have a drink or even coffee. There is also a chance that we may have come back to Porto Salvo for dinner.
We found this bartender to be the rudest person we encountered in Sicily. We spent 23 days going from Palermo to Ortigia. We found everyone, except this bartender, to be friendly and accommodating.
We found this episode to be upsetting and hopefully the owner(s) will discuss with their staff how to handle their customers in a friendlier polite manner.
