点评：The welcome was very friendly and we were quickly shown to an available table in the side area off the entrance and bakery counter area. First impressions were extremely favourable but it wasn't long before the small plastic chairs became pretty uncomfortable. The area is drafty and at this time of year a little cold. The radiators weren't on but blankets are draped over the seats if needed.
The breakfast menu is really good and the food is very well presented and delicious. Because of the price I would have liked to have some provenance on the menu. Shame the plates were cold but eat it quickly and no problem. The tea and coffee is piping hot and extremely good.
The rear outside space and Gin Bar look wonderful and I'm sure will be a great place to enjoy a drink with friends when weather permits.
As well as the cafe, this place is a quality bakery offering a range of breads and cakes.
This is a fabulous local asset; service friendly, food is really good, hot drinks are great and there's a wine tasting event coming up Mar '24. What's not to like!?
They will add 10% to your bill which is paid at ordering irrespective of service or quality. They won't tell you about this and they won't refund it when your drinks need chasing after the food has been served.
After one Sunday morning visit I will recommend and it's likely I'll return. Go there, support local.
