点评：My husband and I flew to Mackay from Adelaide in July 2025 to visit family. Our young grandson chose the tavern for dinner on the Friday night, even though they had never been there before. We were a group of 7, with 3 young children in the group. My husband and I ordered from the Seniors' menu and were very happy with our meals. The garlic bread was the best we've eaten! My husband ordered a chicken parmy, which wasn't on the menu, and was very happy with his choice. I ordered the 200g sirloin which was cooked to perfection. It was nice having a choice of chips or mashed potato, with a good range of vegies as well. My hubby chose the $5 Seniors' blueberry cheesecake for dessert and was delighted that it came with cream and icecream (his preferred choice) and that it seemed to be a full sized serve (not a mini serving as is often offered in Adelaide. Excellent value for money! We all thought our meals were fantastic and would recommend the tavern to other tourists and Mackay residents.
