点评：We booked this as a two night B&B stop over through a gift voucher company. Arrived on the Saturday and the chap seemed genuinely shocked we were there. No welcome pack, no greeting. Room was okay, but noted dirty clothes from previous occupants behind furniture, dusty and no working tv. Drinks were heavily priced. Will say, our food was awesome and the young lady working on the Saturday was excellent.
Got back from our travels Sunday about 7pm and the place was closed up, no bar for a drink or snacks. But it got worse as we were the only people in the building overnight and in to BH Monday morning. No one around for breakfast (which was prepaid), no staff (even went for a walk through to the kitchen), no answer on the phone - so just left our room key behind and packed the car.
So much potential as the setting is lovely, but this non presence on a Bank Holiday weekend is simply nuts!
No response since, despite two emails and we didn’t even get what we paid for.
