点评：First things first - the food here is next level good. Not your run of the mill curry house - each dish is beautifully cooked and seasoned/spiced and delicious. The problem is the service - for a small restaurant it seems they are understaffed for how popular it is. We arrived for our booking at 8pm and the place was 80% full with only 1 waitress. It took 30 minutes and a few times of us trying to get her attention for her to take our drink order, which is pretty poor. We ordered a plate of poppadoms and pickles with our drinks, which took another 25 minutes to arrive, so almost an hour before we got our starters.
The mains didn't arrive until almost 10pm, by which time we were famished and pretty pissed off. As I say, the food was amazing when it did arrive, but the whole experience had been spoiled by how long it took. The restaurant gets pretty noisy when full and difficult to have a conversation without shouting at each other, so we just sat there for 2 hours waiting for food - terrible. No apology or offer of discount or even a free drink or anything (in fact when the bill came they'd included items that hadn't arrived so we had to ask for a new bill).
I think the problem is it is only a small kitchen and they seem to prioritise take-away (there was no shortage of delivery drivers in and out). Also to keep costs down they only employ 1 or 2 waiting staff, which isn't enough, especially on busy weekends. A victim of their own success perhaps, which is a shame as I wouldn't want to dine here again unless they sort this out.
