点评:I must first say finding accommodation in Mkushi isn't easy if you are expecting a European standard of Hotel, having said that you would expect the hostess to be friendly and welcoming, and the rooms to meet a reasonable standard, as Loza Country Lodge is owned by a large corporation. You arrive after travelling about 7km along a dirt track, which is the norm for most of Zambia, there you are welcomed by a white wall and beautiful Iron double gates, the actual property looks lovely, until you look at the ceilings in the covered veranda area. The rooms are even worse, with areas of plaster missing on the lower walls. the area around he bath having no grouting and stained by black mould, missing over sink shelf, antiquated bath, with two grab handles, one of which is extremely loose. The bed was clean, but as hard as a rock. I Had to fold the duvet over in order to be comfortable enough to sleep, they provide one pillow, no tea making facilities, no TV or radio, and the bar closes at 12 o'clock on the dot. A friend who was also staying at the Lodge asked one of the staff to do something as was told by the manageress that she should have asked her first, even though she was no where to be seen. The receptionist is lovely and very helpful however. The breakfast was good, but if you order lunch from a very limited menu, be prepared to wait, I waited over an hour for a toasted sandwich. The staff clear the plates before you even have a chance to put your knife and fork down.
