Not up to the standard of usual Marriott’s

点评：This hotel is not on the same standards that other Marriott we have experienced is usually held to. Reception personell were rude when discussing issues with the room. The rooms looks very nice and the balcony was great. The major issue was that the room randomly smelled like sewage so bad that we had to open all doors and windows multiple times to air it out. Additionally the overhang was broken and wouldn’t roll out on the balcony. The Wi-Fi was not explained to us when we checked in and did not work like they usually do at Marriott hotels. The pool is ok but is an awkward walk away if you are staying in the A building and with no music playing outside it can be awkwardly silent. Not close enough to walk to the beach or downtown but the shuttle has been great! Always very quick. Breakfast was good with lots of options though the restaurant’s other meals were not very good. Food advertised on pictures in the hotel is not offered as an option when you look at the menu. Overall very disappointed with our stay here. My family specifically chooses Marriott around the world because of the good standard of the company but this has not been seen at this hotel.
